This year, the events were recorded with 29 illustrious local and international speakers and about 2.200 attendees (1.650 at Vietnam e-Government Symposium 2010 and 550 at Vietnam ICT Outlook 2010).

VIETNAM E- GOVERNMENT SYMPOSIUM 2010 (eGov2010)


Ho Chi Minh, 15 July 2010, The 8th Vietnam e-Government Symposium 2010 (eGov2010) with the theme “Towards High Impact e-Government and e-Governance during 2011-2015 Period” is hosted by National Steering Committee on Information and Communication Technologies (NSCICT) and the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), co-organized by the International Data Group (IDG Vietnam), Department of Information and Communications of Hochiminh City, Hochiminh City Computer Association (HCA) and Office of National Steering Committee. This conference will take place simultaneously with Outlook on Vietnam ICT 2010 on 16-17 July 2010 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).

The 8th conference is organized with attendance of and under direct leadership of high ranking leaders including: Deputy Prime Minister-Head of National Steering Committee on ICT Nguyen Thien Nhan, Standing Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Le Nam Thang, Vice Head of National Steering Committee Do Trung Ta, leadership from MIC and other central ministry. They all expressed a fierce determination to carry out IT development projects efficiently and enhance the prestige of the event as well.

In this event, almost 30 addresses of local and foreign speakers in this conference would like to place emphasis on some main issues:
